The move comes after reports emerged that the Uttarakhand government has also decided to exempt the film from tax. In their letter, AICWA asked for reimbursement of applicable SGST component on theatrical exhibition in Maharashtra which will further allow the beneficiaries to pass on the benefit of tax waiver to the audience by reducing the ticket prices.

The letter further read, “Hanuman Ansh is a meaningful spiritual film which espouses values of devotion, faith, compassion, humanity and selfless service towards mankind. The film projects a positive and inspirational message for society and is a family-friendly film suiting all age groups.”
