Nani recently confirmed that his forthcoming actioner The Paradise will not have a trailer released before its theatrical release. The film directed by Srikanth Odela will release theatrically across India on September 24, 2026. Preview screenings will take place on September 23.
According to reports that came out during a press conference on Friday, September 11, 2026, producers confirmed there will not be a trailer because shooting for the film recently wrapped. They added that they feel there is enough trust in the film and audiences want to see the film without knowing what it’s about.
Speaking on the topic Nani said, “We feel films are more important than releasing a trailer beforehand…Instead of teasing out important portions of the story in a trailer, we want audiences to watch the film in theaters.”
Adding further, director Srikanth Odela said, “There’s enough noise about #THEPARADISE already so there’s no need of a trailer right now.”
Produced by Nani and Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is Nani’s second film with director Srikanth Odela after their 2023 hit Dasara. In The Paradise, Nani sports long braided hair, and sports a thick beard. His character’s name is Jadal.
Nani was recently spotted in the poster sporting wild, intense look. He’s seen clutching a big gun. According to reports, the image is a screenshot taken from director Srikanth Odela’s phone.
Talking about the film, Nani shared that The Paradise is a mother-son story. Set against a revolutionary backdrop, Nani’s mother in the film will be played by Sonali Kulkarni.
Speaking further, Nani revealed, “It’ will be produced under the SLV Cinemas banner.
The Paradise is a story about Nani’’ll stay,’ Jadal’s fight begins.”
Sharing more details on the film, Nani said, “THE PARADISE is a revolutionary emotional film. While we all are familiar with radical movements led by men, the strong bond of a mother and son will add an emotional angle to the core concept of rebellion.”
Nani further added, “Set in the 1980s of Secunderabad, it’s about a community that has been ostracised from the society and is fighting for their basic rights, respect and dignity. Paradise sees Jadal emerging from the same community and growing up to become someone who decides to take on the system.”
The makers clarified that The Paradise will not be dubbed as a pan-India film but catered towards Telugu audiences.
The film is running for 2 hours and 49 minutes and is rated ‘A’ certified.
Alongside Nani, the film stars Kayadu Lohar in the lead female role, while industry stalwart Mohan Babu, newcomer Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, Tanikella Bharani, Sampoornesh Babu, Eeshwari Rao, and more in key roles. Singer Keerthy Suresh will be making a special appearance in the film.
Playing the antagonist in the film is debutant Raghav Juyal who makes his acting debut with Telugu cinema with The Paradise.
The film’s soundtrack is helmed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The Paradise is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
The teaser revealed action-laced sequences from the world we will see in the film. The teaser kicks off with someone asking, “Henceforth, to whom does this place belong?” Nani enters while doing a cool stunt wearing two plaits oozing blood from him and says “I am here.”
In another scene, antagonist Mohan Babu can be heard saying, “My beloved people of Paradise.”
Cut to a group of action sequences, a female voice can be heard asking, “Is the government meant for your feudal lords or for the people?”
A male voice follows up with saying, “Our down-trodden race needs to mutiny. The very black they spat upon in contempt shall be the colour of our Flag and the crow shall be our emblem. Let’s show them what happens when the crows they spat upon, roar and draw their swords”
Following this we hear multiple people shouting, “Whose land is this? Ours! Whose country is this? Ours!” as the teaser cuts to black with Nani sitting on a heap of dead bodies with blades chained to each other dripping with blood.
The film was previously scheduled to release on March 26, 2026. After multiple delays, the film was pushed to August 21 and eventually to September 24.
A rumored fourth delay for The Paradise was denied when makers shared a new date poster on September 7, 2026. The film’s team wrote on the poster, ‘#𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐄 in cinemas 𝟐𝟒-𝟎𝟗-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔’.
Fans can expect Paid previews of The Paradise before its regular release. This strategy will help the film create a word-of-mouth before its actual release day.
According to a report by Filmy Focus, Post-production of the film is underway. Shoots have been wrapped up for The Paradise.
Film producer Nani’s film The Paradise will have no trailer and is targeting a Telugu audience with its September 24 release.
