Stand-up comedian Gautham Sasi has requested Bigg Boss that he wants to quit Bigg Boss Malayalam 8. This was revealed less than a week into the season which premiered on September 6, with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal returning as host.
Gautham was welcomed into the house as contestant number 13 during the season’s grand premiere. When he entered the house Mohanlal asked him to spread happiness within the house and work on a stand-up act that he could perform during a weekend episode.
Gautham is heard telling housemate Wikky in the latest episode that he was finding it difficult to adjust to life inside the house. He said that he felt he couldn’t live like that and even contemplated walking out of the house.
Housemate Kadal Komban heard their conversation from where he was inside the kitchen. This eventually led to Komban confronting Wikky over what he heard.
Bigg Boss had then summoned both Komban and Wikky to the confession room to resolve the conflict between them.
Gautham was also heard speaking about why he wanted to leave and said that his thoughts to quit weren’t because of any fight he had with a particular housemate. He said he came into Bigg Boss solely to entertain the rest of the housemates and viewers at home.
But he revealed that he was finding it difficult to take the inside lifestyle and adjust to life inside the house.
He also said that while he knew that walking out would mean quitting the opportunity of a lifetime but he wasn’t angry. Instead, he was struggling with the experience and life inside the house in general.
It hasn’t been announced yet if the makers of Bigg Boss Malayalam will grant Gautham Sasi’s wish of quitting the show.
Mohanlal is scheduled to make appearances for the weekend episodes of the show. It will be interesting to see if the ongoing happenings inside the house like Gautham’ quitting contemplations and Kadal Komban and Wikky’s fight will come up during the weekend episode.
