Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has uploaded new photos on social media as she shows off her pregnancy glow and baby bump. She is expecting her first child with husband Raj Nidimoru and uploaded the snaps on Instagram on Saturday.
The actress shared a carousel post that showed her working this week while also posting mirror selfies that flaunted her baby bump. She sported a casual and comfortable look in the snaps.
Fans then commented on her pregnancy looks. ‘Ur glow is insane.’ wrote one fan. ‘Motherhood Glow,’ wrote another. ‘Goshhh The cheeks, the glow old Sam is peeking through again,’ a third person said.
Others wrote, ‘ That pregnancy glow you have is absolutely gorgeous, Sam!’ and ‘cutest mom- to-be.’ Many fans posted red heart emojis as well.
Was Pregnancy Planned?
These photos come after Samantha recently spoke about her pregnancy. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, she revealed that she wasn’t expecting to get pregnant.
She said, ‘I had reached a place where I was okay. Like, both Raj and I were okay with ‘maybe we can’ perhaps we can’’t have kids. Maybe we will. I was okay with either. I was fine, and so was he. So, this is a surprise.’’
The actress also spoke about when she found out she was pregnant. She was filming for song ‘Thassadiya’ when she discovered the news.
She continued, ‘The first day I was shooting for the song Thassadiya, I found out. I had just found out and I had to go and do the steps. I was having a little bit of sickness at that time. I guess everything just aligned.’
On motherhood, Samantha added, ‘And now, I am truly excited. Everybody says when you have a child your entire life changes. I think I am ready for that change.’
Earlier Announcement And Pregnancy Journey
Samantha had announced that she was pregnant in June 2026. During an event for the success of her latest film ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram,’ she spoke about taking maternity off.
She told reporters, ‘After Maa Inti Bangaaram, I will have to take a small break, given my condition. I’ ll have to take maternity leave. After that I’ll be back with another film for my fans.’
She married Raj Nidimoru in December 20 at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. The pair starred together in their joint film, ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram.’
Since Samantha announced her pregnancy she has regularly updated fans on her journey on social media. She has shared photos from her babymoon and a visit to Isha Yoga Centre too. Samantha has also spoken to fans on what pregnancy has been like for her and in an Instagram session revealed she had put on 11 kg.
