Actors Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi have lifted the veil off their son’s face for the first time. Celebrating his first birthday on September 10, 2026, the couple took to social media to share some adorable family pictures.
His debut appearance comes after a year of staying anonymous. Born on September 10, 2025, the star baby had kept his face hidden from the public eye until today.
Varun shared two pictures on Instagram and X. In one he is seen with his wife and baby son, while in the other picture he is kissing his son cheek.
The actor captioned his post with a message for Vaayuv. “My dear boy, you made me experience motherhood in the best way possible. I fell in love with you even before I saw you for the very first time. Having you as my son is the most beautiful chapter of my life. Happy 1st birthday Vaayuv. Love you forever,” he wrote.
Lavanya too posted a heartfelt note for her son. “To my little love, Thank you for picking me to be your mother. Before you entered our lives I thought I understood love. Then you came along and all of sudden I realized there was a whole new love for me to know… One that lives within me but somehow exists outside of my body,” she penned.
She continued: “Thank you for blessing us with your being, for lighting up our home with your giggles, tiny fingers, hugs and happiness I didn’t know I was craving. You completed me in the most beautiful way. You are my heartbeat stepping outside of my chest, my biggest blessing, my moon on my darkest days and my sunshine on my rainiest days. You fill our lives with so much love. You are our world Vaayuv. Happy 1st birthday my baby!”
Family and industry friends commented on the photos. Varun’s sister Niharika Konidela wrote: “There he issss, the most handsome boy I have ever seen.” Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela commented: “Happy happy birthday darling vaayu.” Badminton champion PV Sindhu wrote: “So cuteee…. Happy birthday vaayuv.” Actress Ritu Varma, Anupama Parameswaran and Ruhani Sharma also congratulated the couple.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi got married on November 1, 2023, in Tuscany, Italy. They announced they were expecting a baby in May 2025. Varun and Lavanya’s son Vaayuv was born on September 10, 2025.
The couple were first spotted together at the shoot of the film Mister in 2017. They later collaborated on Antariksham 9000 KMPH in 2018. After working together they kept their relationship under wraps for years.
Parents Varun and Lavanya shared that they named their son Vaayuv because of its spiritual meaning. The couple stated that it means, “An unstoppable force. Devotion. Courage. Spiritual brightness.”
As for work, Varun Tej is set to appear next in the Indo-Korean comedy horror film Korean Kanakaraju. Lavanya Tripathi will next be seen in Sathi Leelavathi.
